Web Site Pet Peeves

We recently read an article about hotel web site pet peeves, which was fascinating. Here are some of the things people dislike.

~ Music that just keeps running and can't be turned off
~ A video that takes forever to load and is on every page of the site
~ Too many adjectives to describe something.... just get to the point
~ There needs to be a map of the surrounding area, which there rarely is!
~ There should be an easier way to book packages.
~ When they lack a service that provides luxury concierge service and trip planning.

As a partner to hotels, this was really interesting to read. We opted out of having music or videos on our site, in order to make it more user-friendly. We also chose to make a blog to tell the story from all of our destinations that we represent. (Dubai Luxury Travel Blog)

We hope to provide the last item, through cusomized itinerary development, where every businessman or family can have their vacation planned from their arrival to the moment the step on a plane. Save time on planning and use it to create priceless memories with your family.

Surf City, USA

I am originally from Colorado, so when I first came to California, the one thing I wanted to learn how to do was Surf! And what better place to learn how to do that, but in Huntington Beach, or Surf City, USA.

But there is so much more to Huntington Beach then just surfing. This dynamic coastal city, with its sunny Mediterranean climate and idyllic setting, is home to more than 200,000 residents. Huntington Beach boasts more than eight miles of scenic, accessible beachfront, the largest stretch of uninterrupted beachfront on the West Coast. It also has a wonderfully unique community with 100 years of incredible history, known all over the globe as a friendly community welcoming visitors from international countries, specialing in the Middle Eastern vacation traveler.

Our parks and recreation features one of the largest recreational piers in the world, public parks, riding stables and equestrian trails, a marina, and a wildlife preserve, and an eight-mile biking, inline skating, jogging, and walking trail along the ocean. The crown jewel of the recreation system is the wide expanse of beautiful and spacious beaches, where large crowds gather to watch professional sporting events as the U.S. Open of Surfing, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball and the Surf City USA Marathon. The Huntington Beach Art Center and the Huntington Beach Playhouse also provide a wide variety of fine arts, and the excellent library system and numerous museums provide a strong cultural foundation. Also, above you will see a copy of this year's Huntington Beach float for the Rose Parade.

My Personal Favorite: There is one activity in the Huntington Beach harbor that has become a favorite for myself and my family. I love paddle boarding!! This sport originated in Hawaii and has now been brought to our very own shores. You get to take a long board out on the harbor and paddle yourself, while standing on the board. It is an excellent workout, and a blast at the same time. You get to see and experience the ocean in a whole new way. This picture shows a professional, but don't worry, you start out on calm water, simply cruising the harbor.

You have to check out all that this incredible desination offers!

Come Sail Away!

After traveling to various countries, we have come to really love and appreciate our beautiful Orange County coasts. We have some of the best surfing, sailing, and fishing in the entire world, right at our doorstep. With this in mind, we wanted to create a unique package that would allow people to experience our beautiful coastline, whether it be a family out for an afternoon, a couple's retreat, or a business luncheon.
Travel in style to Dana Point Harbor and board a delux 36-passenger private sailing vessel with a captain. A champagne toast will be held upon arrival as you set sail. As you settle in to the luxury accomodations you will toast and dine with the beautiful coastline in view and the sun setting in the background. If you have a family on board, the kids can enjoy a sailing lesson with the captain and come away wearing their own captain's hat. Or, the vessel can take your family out for a dolphin-watching safari. For couples, surprise your loved one with a bouquet of roses and a candle-lit dinner aboard.

Come and rediscover the breath-taking views of our Orange County coasts, and find out why it has been called the California Riviera.

In the Fast Lane!

My family is coming home from the Car capital of the world, Dubai, where they saw a gold plated Ferrari among other exotic cars everywhere. Now that they have a new found fascination with cars, I’m looking forward to taking them to Cars and Coffee in Irvine to show them what it is all about.

Cars and Coffee is an event held at 5:30-6AM every Saturday morning in Irvine. It was originated in Crystal Cove off Pacific Coast Highway years back when a few wealthy car enthusiasts began meeting in a parking lot during the early hours of the morning to talk about and show one another their mutual enthusiasm/love for cars. The word spread about these exotic cars gathering in this location at the same time each week and more people began to bring their own cars. Over time this has become an "insiders" car show. There is no advertisement for it and it doesn't cost anything to show your car. You just have to KNOW about it to attend or even find it.

The event has grown nationally over the years and spread to other areas of the country such as Jacksonville FL, Las Vegas, Charlotte NC, Omaha NB, Honolulu HI, and others. It has very recently become nationally recognized with gatherings being held in Belgium and Netherlands. You can check out more about Cars and Coffee at http://online.carsandcoffee.info/. This is where some of my own enthusiasm and recognition in the car industry has flourished. I was fortunate enough to have my car photographed a couple of times and shown on the website along side of other noteworthy exotics!
Basically almost all of Orange County's wealthy automotive owners attend this event religiously, on any giving Saturday you can be sure to find BILLIONS of dollars worth of exotic/high end cars at this place that you would never see anywhere else unless you find these millionaires and sneak on their property and into their garages haha. That's the caliber of some of these cars, plenty of them never even see the public roads due to their exclusivity.
